For the first time, the event occupies all 15 pavilions of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), consolidating itself as one of the most relevant meetings for the global automotive chain.

The activities start today with the International Automotive Industry Conference 2025 – CEO Summit, where executives from around the world address the challenges and opportunities of the sector, anticipating the trends that will dominate the next four days of the fair.

"The expansion of scale and the increase in the number of exhibitors this year exemplify the strength of the Chinese automotive industry and the effectiveness of Automechanika Shanghai as a global access platform. This year's programme of side events, which includes 94 events and more than 450 keynote speakers, will also explore developments in both China and international markets. These events maintain a global perspective and stay aligned with industry trends, fostering collaboration that drives the international supply chain and promotes innovation for a more efficient global network," explained Ms Fiona Chiew, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt.
