United States. The company reinforces its commitment to the development of cleaner and more efficient technologies, offering an up-to-date tool for manufacturers and environmental policymakers worldwide.
PHINIA Inc. presented its Global Guide to Emission Standards 2025/2026, a publication that consolidates current and future regulations on emissions for light vehicles in the world's main markets.
The document, which follows more than three decades of technical monitoring initiated by Delphi in 1993, compiles information on current, historical and upcoming standards for key regions such as the European Union, the United States, Brazil, Japan, China, South Korea and India.
"Since its inception, this project has aimed to support our customers in the development of cleaner and more efficient technologies," said Todd Anderson, Chief Technology Officer at PHINIA. "This year's focus on light-duty vehicles responds to the growing urgency to reduce the environmental impact of the world's most widely used vehicle category. By bringing together global standards into a comprehensive guide, we reaffirm PHINIA's commitment to manufacturers, automotive professionals and policymakers to accelerate the transition to a cleaner future."
The publication provides a detailed technical overview of new on-board diagnostics, emissions monitoring and reference fuel standards requirements, serving as a key resource for manufacturers, engineers and regulatory authorities.
