United States. Continental's ContiTech sector announced the appointment of Jim Hill as Vice President of Distribution for its Industrial Solutions Americas (IAM) business unit, as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence and performance in the continent.
Hill, who previously served as IAM's Vice President of Marketing and Strategy, will be responsible for leading distribution strategy in the Americas, with a focus on strengthening and expanding the network, as well as buildingrelationships with customers and distributor partners.
"Jim's extensive industry experience and proven leadership make him the ideal person to lead our distribution strategy in the Americas," said Andreas Gerstenberger, CEO of ContiTech USA and director of the Industrial Solutions Americas business area. "His deep understanding of our markets and customers will be critical as we continue to strengthen our distribution network."
Hill joined ContiTech in 2015. Prior to that, he held management positions at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and later senior executive positions at Goodyear Engineered Products, which later became Veyance Technologies and is now part of ContiTech. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Kentucky.
