China. The 74th edition of the Auto Maintenance and Repair Expo 2026 successfully concluded on April 15 in Beijing, consolidating itself as one of the main platforms for the automotive maintenance and repair industry in Asia.
For three days, the fair brought together manufacturers, distributors, workshops and aftermarket professionals in a space focused on innovation, knowledge exchange and technological development. The event registered 49,634 visits from 68 countries and regions, a growth of 19%, in addition to 1,385 exhibitors distributed in 80,000 square meters of exhibition.
AMR 2026 presented solutions in diagnostics and repair, bodywork and paint, parts and components, automotive washing, wheels and tires, as well as technologies for electric vehicles and smart logistics.
One of the most prominent sectors was Diagnostics and Repair, where Nexion China exhibited alignment equipment, elevators and balancers.
Vice President, Mr. Jacky Li, commented, "AMR has been an important platform for Nexion in China. This year we received numerous professional visitors, including emerging technicians and students from various vocational education institutions, as well as getting direct feedback on our products from end users, which will contribute to the updating and improvement of our products."
The fair also stood out for its new specialized areas focused on electrification, digitalization and restoration of used vehicles. In this space, MIRKA China presented robotic polishing and finishing solutions.
Mr. Yuming Fan, Marketing Manager, said, "This edition marks our return to AMR after several years. The fair allowed us to connect with OEM manufacturers and distributors who are very interested in establishing alliances. One of the main benefits of the area was the combination of exhibitions and product demonstrations, which we believe strengthened our presence by presenting our systems and processes to a wide variety of end users."
In addition to the trade show, AMR 2026 held 49 academic and technical events on artificial intelligence, smart mobility, advanced maintenance, and talent training for the automotive sector.
The next edition of AMR will return in spring 2027.
