Mexico. The INA PAACE Automechanika Mexico 2026 fair is preparing to hold the largest and most innovative edition in its history, consolidating itself as the main automotive aftermarket meeting in Latin America.
The event will take place from July 8 to 10, 2026 at the Banamex Center in Mexico City and will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the strategic alliance between Messe Frankfurt, Industria Nacional de Autopartes and the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association.
Driven by sustained growth, the organizers expanded the exhibition area to more than 34,000 square meters, making it the largest surface area in the history of Automechanika Mexico. The 2026 edition expects to bring together more than 700 exhibitors, with more than 85% of the space already commercialized, and offer a broader and more dynamic experience for thousands of visitors from all over the region.
With the aim of responding to new market demands, the event will incorporate specialized categories such as Heavy Duty, Last Mile Delivery, Vehicle Customization and Tire Repair and Service, thus expanding the reach of professionals and participating companies within the automotive value chain.
Among the main attractions of this edition is the launch of the Automechanika Innovation 4 Mobility Award, an initiative focused on promoting growing automotive workshops in Mexico. The winning workshop will receive more than $30,000 in professional equipment. The recognition will be presented by Gustavo Cardelas in the Innovation 4 Mobility zone and will have a jury made up of industry experts.
Likewise, one of the attendees will have the opportunity to win a replica of the 1957 Porsche 356 developed by Gustavo Cardelas. The electric vehicle, which was one of the great attractions of the 2025 edition, will return to the exhibition floor as part of a special dynamic.
The agenda will also include a World Cup Viewing Lounge, a space inspired by a sports bar where attendees can enjoy the quarterfinals of the World Cup on giant screens, in addition to participating in networking, entertainment and coexistence activities.
For his part, Mauricio Hernández, leader of MH Customs and recognized for his participation in the Tunéame la Nave program and his collaboration with West Coast Customs, will lead a live automotive restoration during the three days of the event.
The free Automechanika Academy training program will also return in 2026. After bringing together more than 13,000 technicians and workshop owners in 2025 in 120 seminars given by 40 companies, the organization announced a more robust and specialized edition for this year.
Another of the invited personalities will be Effi Muñiz, protagonist of the series Mexicánicos: Estado de México, who will have her own stand and will exhibit one of her most representative creations to spend time with the attendees and sign autographs.
In addition, the NASCAR Mexico Series will have a presence through the historic Tame Racing team, which will take a competition car and will bring visitors closer to some of its most outstanding drivers.
Prior to the start of the exhibition, the International Aftermarket Summit will be held on July 7 and 8, bringing together leaders in the sector to discuss trends, challenges and innovation. Similarly, the Automechanika Industry Night, considered one of the main networking and business generation spaces in the industry, will return.
"2026 represents a milestone for INA PAACE Automechanika Mexico," said Bridget Ferris, Vice President of Mobility and Logistics at Messe Frankfurt North America. "After 10 years of successful collaboration with INA and MEMA, we are presenting the most ambitious edition yet: larger, more innovative and full of unique experiences that reflect the future of the aftermarket industry."
"This tenth anniversary of our strategic alliance not only celebrates record growth in exhibition space and number of exhibitors, but also consolidates Mexico as the most important logistics and services center in the region. The Mexican aftermarket market is a solid economic engine; with more than 700 companies present, we are demonstrating that innovation and technical training are the key pillars for our industry to continue exceeding expectations at a global level," said Francisco N. González Díaz, Executive President of the National Auto Parts Industry (INA).
