BendPak Expands APEX with Workshop Equipment

United States. APEX by BendPak announced the expansion of its product line with the addition of two-post lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers and accessories, aimed at buyers looking for reliable professional equipment at an affordable price.

The brand, which until now focused on ramps for garages and trailers, is committed to offering solutions designed for daily use in the workshop, backed by BendPak service and support.

"Our new APEX line is designed for customers who are looking for well-built lifts and wheelservice equipment that they can trust to get the job done," explained Tyler Rex, senior director of marketing at BendPak. "They don't necessarily need — or want to pay — for all the extras."

The new portfolio includes the AL9LC and AL10LC two-post lifts, the AT26 and AT26A swing arm tire changers, as well as the AB24M and AB28 hand balancers, plus optional adapters and accessories to enhance productivity in the wheel service area.

Two-Post Lifts: Performance and Safety for a Wide Range of Vehicles

APEX two-post lifts combine symmetrical and asymmetrical configurations, triple telescopic extension front arms, and dual-stage rear arms, allowing them to fit from compact vehicles to large pickups. Both models include telescopic support plates and stackable adapters, automatic locks that activate every three inches and automatic arm retainers, plus an industry-leading 36-month warranty.

The AL9LC, with a 9,000-pound capacity, incorporates a floor plate design designed for shops with low ceilings, eliminating the top beam and maximizing vertical space. It uses a reinforced upper chain system with highly durable components and oversized rollers with grease trays, aimed at reducing wear and maintaining consistent performance in demanding environments.

The AL10LC, with a capacity of 10,000 pounds, features a free-floor design that makes it easy to move tool carts, transmission jacks and other equipment under the elevated vehicle. Its superior box-beam structure reinforces system stability, while its direct-drive design with full-stroke hydraulic cylinders reduces maintenance by minimizing moving parts.

Tire changers focused on operational efficiency

The AT26 and AT26A tire changers are designed to work with low-profile rims and oversized tires, including truck applications. Both incorporate a high-torque electric rotary table, precise speed control and a high-power bead breaker system to facilitate the technician's work.

The AT26A adds a pneumatic assist arm that reduces physical strain when mounting and removing run-flat, low-profile, or heavy-duty tires. It also integrates tools to keep the heel in the center during assembly and safety devices for inflation. These features can be optionally added to the AT26 model, allowing capacities to be scaled according to the needs of the workshop.

Balancers designed for speed, precision and space savings

The AB28 balancer offers fast seven-second cycles and is capable of working with wheels up to 44 inches in diameter, covering everything from passenger cars to high-performance applications. LED indicators guide the technician to the exact placement of the counterweight, optimizing times and reducing errors.

The AB24M is designed to be mounted directly on a swing arm tire changer, creating an integrated space-saving and balancing and balancing station that improves workflow. It can also be installed on freestanding vertical structures and is compatible with wheels of cars, light trucks, and motorcycles.
