United States. BendPak introduced its new RWS-200WL battery-powered wheel lift, designed to reduce physical strain on automotive technicians and optimize shop times.
The fully rechargeable device offers full mobility, operational accuracy and increased safety by eliminating the need for connection to compressed air systems.
Unlike traditional pneumatic lifts, the RWS-200WL is fully portable, allowing it to be used in a variety of areas of the shop, from replacing wheels on lifts to ergonomically positioning tires on changers or balancers.
In addition to reducing staff fatigue and the risk of exertional injuries, the new model contributes to compliance with occupational safety standards (OSHA) and can promote the reduction of labor claims and even insurance premiums.

The equipment was developed to support the larger and heavier tires that predominate in light trucks and SUVs. It offers a load capacity of up to 200 pounds and a 2.5-inch low-profile design that makes it easy to roll large wheels into the working position.
Another highlight is its precision control, which improves the alignment of nuts and shafts compared to pneumatic systems, which are usually more abrupt or imprecise. Its electrical system allows for smooth and precise movements, while offset support arms and integrated rollers make it easy to rotate and align the wheels during installation or removal.
Additional features include a 12V auxiliary power outlet, battery indicator, and smart charger that supports 110 or 240V current, allowing it to be used in any region.
With fewer moving parts than hydraulic or pneumatic systems, its factory-sealed and lubricated linear actuator offers long life and low maintenance, contributing to lower operating costs and increased equipment availability.
