Schaeffler Expands INA Truck Portfolio with New OE-Quality Belts

International. The company announced the expansion of its offering for auxiliary drive systems in commercial vehicles under the INA brand, incorporating a new original equipment (OE) quality poly-V belt designed for trucks and buses.

The new solution complements the existing range of INA pulleys and tensioners and has been developed to meet the increasing demands of modern heavy-duty vehicle engines. According to the company, the belt offers high reliability and long service life, and is available for widely used models of Mercedes-Benz, MAN, DAF, Volvo, Scania, Iveco and Renault.

Designed for the demands of heavy-duty transport

According to Schaeffler, INA FEAD (Front End Accessory Drive) belts were developed to withstand high mechanical loads, high torque levels and continuous operating conditions. Its flat design with multiple longitudinal ribs allows efficient power transmission even in high-demand applications.

The company also highlighted that the belt has a high resistance to wear, heat and environmental factors. Its main reinforcement element is composed of high-strength polyester cords, which contributes to maintaining constant tension and high resistance to elongation during operation.

Made of certified EPDM rubber

Schaeffler noted that all belts are made of certified EPDM rubber, a material that ensures reliable performance throughout the product's lifecycle, even under demanding operating conditions.

"Under the INA brand, Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions offers reliable, economical and workshop-friendly solutions in auxiliary drive systems for trucks and buses. Our durable products help reduce downtime and get vehicles back on the road quickly. With the new INA FEAD belts, we continue to steadily expand our portfolio for heavy-duty commercial vehicles," said Samuel Braun, Vice President Commercial Vehicles at Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions.

In addition to products, Schaeffler said it offers technical support to workshops and fleet operators to maximize component performance. This support includes handling and storage recommendations, installation instructions, technical information, and visual resources.

"With our comprehensive approach, we help extend belt life, identify wear at an early stage and prevent unplanned downtime. Reliability in fleet operations is achieved through the combination of durable components, proper handling, market-oriented repair solutions, and technical expertise. That is precisely the goal of every fleet operator," added Braun.

With this addition, Schaeffler continues to strengthen its offering for the heavy-duty commercial vehicle segment, seeking to improve operational reliability and reduce downtime in transport fleets.
