Plews & Edelmann Announces 239 New Products by 2025 and Reinforces Strategy as a Total Solution Provider

United States. Plews & Edelmann announced one of its most extensive expansions in recent years with the introduction of 239 new products to be launched throughout 2025. The company, recognized for its leadership in power steering components, seeks to consolidate itself as the most complete supplier to the aftermarket with solutions that cover hard parts, hoses and coolers.

The expansion responds to the growing demand for specialized spare parts for hydraulic systems and the need to maintain coverage in late-model applications, fleet vehicles and high-rotation platforms.

"This consistent level of product development demonstrates our steadfast commitment to the power steering aftermarket," said Dan Billie, CEO of Plews & Edelmann. "As we continue to expand our comprehensive portfolio of solutions – including our innovative electric power steering repair programs – the 239 new hydraulic power steering products launched this year reflect our dedication to addressing the evolving needs of professional technicians and service centers."

Hard Part Expansion

Included in the launches are 82 new hard parts, including 44 rack and pinion assemblies, 33 hydraulic steering pumps and 5 steering boxes. The brand highlighted that Edelmann Elite® components include its Designated Numeric Asset® (DNA) technology, which allows lifetime traceability and increases operational reliability.

The company significantly strengthened its hose lines:

  • Edelmann Elite®: incorporates 105 new SKUs, more than doubling the offer. These high-performance hoses use advanced rubber formulations to improve thermal performance, durability to hydraulic pulses, and cold flexibility.
  • Edelmann Legacy®: adds 47 new hoses, expanding coverage for domestic and imported applications, including options for high-demand fleets and crossover models.

Chillers with OE standard

In addition, Plews & Edelmann integrated five new OE-equivalent power steering coolers, designed with internal turbulators and E-coat coating to maximize heat dissipation and withstand severe conditions under the hood. These products are geared towards heavy-duty vehicles, trailers, and fleets.

"Professional technicians depend on having the right parts when they need them," said Tony Edwards, vice president of Sales and Marketing. "Our constant pace of development ensures that the aftermarket has access to complete power steering solutions. From complete rack and pinion assemblies to premium hoses and coolers, we are committed to providing solutions to real problems."

With this expansion, the company strengthens its position as a comprehensive supplier for the power steering system, supported by a strategy based on constant innovation, specialized manufacturing and portfolio expansion to adapt to the technical needs of the market.
