Canada. Litens has added 13 new SKUs of belt drive systems that offer coverage for more than 5.2 million vehicles on the road. The company's new product line includes pulleys, freewheel alternator couplers and belt tensioners.
A press release from Litens noted that the latest product expansion "features innovative solutions designed to meet the changing needs of modern vehicles and repair technicians. Improved components increase efficiency, simplify installation and reduce inventory complexity for dealers and shops."
The company's new product line includes:
- Three pulleys covering more than 2.1 million VIOs.
- Seven freewheel alternator couplers (DAOs™) covering more than 860,000 VIOs.
- Three belt tensioners covering more than 2.2 million VIOs, now with advanced engineering enhancements for better performance and ease of use.
"It is essential that shops have access to reliable, OE-equivalent parts as vehicles become more advanced. With 11 of the 13 new SKUs being first to market and OE-engineered, we are giving technicians access to solutions that were previously unavailable," said Ana Maria Lopez, product applications manager at Litens Aftermarket.
All new SKUs are already available through the Litens Aftermarket distribution network, with further product expansions expected throughout 2025, the company said.
