Getac and MAHLE unveil new automotive diagnostic tool

International. Getac Technology Corporation (Getac) has entered into an alliance with MAHLE Aftermarket for the development of its new diagnostic tool.

This solution, based on the Android operating system, is powered by Getac's ultra-rugged hardware. This strategic project marks a new milestone for Getac and reaffirms its ability to offer customized technology solutions globally.

In its search for a reliable technology partner that would ensure global support, MAHLE Aftermarket selected Getac as a key partner to enhance its commitment to innovation through the use of advanced technology. This new development for the automotive aftermarket sector is based on a robust hardware solution, designed for multi-brand workshops, with the purpose of ensuring high quality standards and optimizing the customer experience.

Machine shops often work in demanding environments, with factors such as dust, grease, humidity, and temperature variations. MAHLE Aftermarket therefore needed a robust solution that would meet these challenges. The key was to integrate a compact yet highly robust Android Enterprise Recommended tablet that offered portability, mobility, and a variety of features and accessories designed to improve efficiency in daily operation.
