FleetPride Strengthens Presence in Texas with Acquisition of OTR Fleet Service

United States. FleetPride, Inc., the independent distributor of parts and services for heavy-duty vehicles in the U.S., announced the acquisition of OTR Fleet Service LLC, headquartered in Houston with operations in several key cities across the state.

This transaction expands FleetPride's presence in Texas and strengthens its ability to provide comprehensive maintenance and repair solutions. OTR Fleet Service is one of the largest independent fleet maintenance companies in the region and the leading provider of on-site mobile services for trucks and trailers in Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.

In addition to its fleet of more than 30 mobile units, it has three service centers that offer specialized maintenance, including major truck repair, refurbishment, trailer body repair and heavy mechanical services. Its care model is supported by an in-house call center available 24/7, ensuring emergency assistance and efficient maintenance scheduling.

James and CJ Hicks, owners of OTR Fleet Service, highlighted the company's growth since its founding nearly two decades ago and emphasized the importance of partnering with a company that drives new opportunities for both its customers and employees. "We have established ourselves as a benchmark in the industry with a first-class team and a firm commitment to quality.

We take pride in the hard work we have put in to grow our business and serve our customers. The integration with FleetPride will allow us to take our service to the next level," they said.

Mike Harris, president of FleetPride Parts and Services, highlighted the strategic importance of the acquisition and its impact on the company's growth. "We are excited to welcome OTR Fleet Service and its talented team. This acquisition allows us to strengthen our presence in key markets, expand our service solutions and strengthen our ability to offer on-site mobile maintenance. The combination of our operations will allow us to provide greater value to our customers and business partners," he said.

For FleetPride, the incorporation of OTR Fleet Service represents a further step in its expansion strategy, adding a highly trained team and consolidating its network of solutions for the heavy-duty vehicle industry. In addition, OTR customers will have access to the FleetPride.com e-commerce platform, which offers advanced digital solutions for parts and service management. In addition, OTR employees will be able to benefit from FleetPride's training and professional development programs, including product training and specialized technical training.

With this acquisition, FleetPride continues to strengthen its leadership in the industry, offering an increasingly robust network of parts, service and maintenance for fleets across the country.
