Specialty Products Co. Appoints Vice President of Sales and Marketing

United States. Brent Berman has been named vice president of sales and marketing for Specialty Products, a manufacturer of vehicle alignment tools, suspension components and oil/fuel system products.

Berman has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket.

Berman will oversee sales, marketing and other key functions at Specialty Products Company, SPC Performance and Peterson Fluid Systems, the company said.

He joins Specialty from First Brands Group, a manufacturer and marketer of a wide range of replacement components sold under brands such as Raybestos, Anco, TRICO, FRAM and Carter, in Cleveland, Ohio, where he served as Vice President of Business/Commercial Support and Cataloging.

"Brent's aftermarket experiences and deep technical expertise will help Specialty Products Company and all of its product lines move into the future with key product development and technical training to connect more technicians and consumers to our brands."

Berman began his career in the aftermarket in the mid-1990s as a technical trainer for Cooper Automotive. His previous roles have included developing and managing the award-winning Garage Gurus technical training program at Federal-Mogul, Southfield, Michigan, as well as creating and managing its data and digital content program; and group director of repair products, Trico Products, Rochester Hills, Michigan, according to Specialty Products Company.
