International. The fair closes its 30th edition with historic figures, international projection and a strong commitment to sustainability.
Autopromotec 2025 concluded with unprecedented results: more than 97 thousand attendees, 17% foreign participation and a daily average of 24,337 visitors that exceeds even the numbers reached in 2019, considered so far the most successful edition.
Held in Bologna, Italy, from May 21 to 24, the biennial exhibition reaffirmed its place as the most specialized exhibition of the automotive aftermarket in Europe and the world. With 1,692 participating companies, 45% of them international, from 46 countries, the event made it clear that the industry is increasingly looking to this platform to do business and build strategic alliances.
One of the milestones of this edition was the obtaining of the ISO 20121 certification by Promotec, organizer of the event, a recognition that endorses its sustainable management model in environmental, social and economic terms.
Autopromotec's growth is also reflected in the immediate interest in future editions: multiple exhibitors have already requested to expand their presence by 2027, while 858 B2B meetings were generated between 146 representatives of at least 110 Italian companies and buyers from all over the world, convened in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Foreign Trade Agency (ICE).
The agenda of this edition revolved around four key axes: technological innovation, sustainability, access to data and the value of "Made in Italy". The conferences provided an overview of the future of the sector amid the green transition, digitalisation and the need for new skills.
"Autopromotec 2025 concludes with extraordinary results. The figures speak for themselves: we are a benchmark for the sector internationally, but what we are most proud of is the quality of the dialogue with operators and their willingness to look to the future together. The ISO 20121 certification is an important step towards a new and more conscious way of doing trade fairs," said Renzo Servadei, CEO of Autopromotec.
The next major event will be Futurmotive Talks, scheduled for May 21 and 22, 2026 at the Tecnopolo in Bologna. And Autopromotec will return from May 26 to 29, 2027 with new challenges, more internationalization and an even more sustainable vision of automotive maintenance.
