United States. With a comprehensive approach throughout the product lifecycle, ZF is preparing to launch solutions to maximize the performance of internal combustion and electric vehicles.
One of the products being launched will be the new line of TRW brake hoses. ZF will introduce more than 500 references, designed to suit a wide range of domestic, Asian and European vehicles. Manufactured to OE specifications, these hoses offer exceptionally low volumetric expansion, ensuring superior pedal response and improved braking times, crucial for advanced anti-lock braking systems (ABS).
ZF will also present its remanufactured product offering, which includes TRW steering gears and WABCO air compressors. This approach not only saves costs, but allows for the reuse of materials, reducing environmental impact. Remanufactured products offer quality and performance comparable to new products, at approximately one-third the cost.
ZF emphasizes its commitment to sustainability through careful design and a remanufacturing process that reuses 60 to 90 percent of materials. This strategy not only improves the efficiency of the product lifecycle, but also ensures the availability of essential parts, vital to keeping supply chains operational.
