Lucas Oil Renews Lead Sponsorship of RCR's No. 8 Chevrolet for Firekeepers Casino 400

United States. Lucas Oil, a longtime partner of Richard Childress Racing (RCR) and ECR Engines, has confirmed its return as title sponsor of the No. 8 Chevrolet.

The latter will be driven by two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch for the Firekeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Aug. 18.

This will be the second time this season that Lucas Oil's iconic paint design will adorn the No. 8 Chevrolet as Busch looks to add another win to his record at one of the fastest tracks on the NASCAR calendar.

Brandon Bernstein, Lucas Oil's Director of Partnership Marketing, expressed his excitement: "Working with Kyle has been an incredible experience and we are excited to see him back behind the wheel of the No. 8 Lucas Oil Chevrolet. We're confident he has what it takes to win in Michigan." Bernstein highlighted that the collaboration with RCR and ECR Engines remains strong, anticipating an outstanding performance of the team on the circuit.

Since 2014, Lucas Oil has been the official lubricant of RCR and the official engine oil of ECR Engines. During this decade, ECR Engines and Lucas Oil have amassed 146 victories, including seven so far this season. In addition, Lucas Oil supports Kyle and Brexton Busch in their Sprint Car competitions.

The relationship with RCR, which began in 2014, has allowed Lucas Oil's technicians and scientists to develop advanced engine oil formulations, optimised to meet the demands of racing engines. RCR and ECR teams use simulators and real-world racing scenarios to evaluate and refine Lucas Oil's performance, collecting crucial data for continuous improvement.

Lucas Oil's presence at the Firekeepers Casino 400 underlines the brand's ongoing commitment to motorsport success and innovation.
