Expopartes returns to Medellín in June 2024

Colombia. The Auto Parts Fair is the meeting of the automotive sector in Colombia that will be held from June 5 to 7. The exhibition brings together the production chain of the automotive industry in the country, presenting all the offers and services for vehicles in one place.

Asopartes, organizer of this event, estimates around 15,000 visitors from all regions of Colombia and countries such as India, Spain, South Korea, Venezuela, Panama, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil, Turkey, Germany, Peru, Uruguay, China and Taiwan. In addition, the fair will bring together more than 300 national and international exhibitors.

"The idea, in addition to doubling the fair and completely filling the Plaza Mayor venue, is to put Colombia on the radar of the major events of the automotive industry in the world. And for Medellín, it is to be the focus of the commercialization of parts and the automotive sector, in addition to the possibility of investment in the territory," explained Carlos Andrés Pineda Osorio, director of Asopartes, talking about what the event means for the region.

The fair will be held at the Plaza Mayor fairgrounds in the 5 pavilions. Among this year's highlights are:

  • International Forum on Women's Leadership in the Motor Sector, where topics of Inspirational Leadership with Colombian Women opening borders around the world and the inclusion of women in the industry will be discussed. This will take place on June 4.
  • The Expopartes Fair in Plaza Mayor this time takes over 5 pavilions, 12,000 square meters of exhibition space.
  • Xtrem Fest, June 7-9. There will be more than 2,000 square meters in which you will be able to appreciate a large sample of accessories, workshops, detailing, customization of the Car Audio and tuning, as well as a significant exhibition of 60 exclusive high-end vehicles, off-road models, Hot Rod and Restmood models, among other attractions.

Norvy Barreiro, president of the National Committee of Women in Asopartes, spoke about the International Forum on Women's Leadership in the Motor Sector: "We are sure that this iconic event will continue to drive us towards the establishment of the policy of equity and inclusion of women. All of this is supported by specialized professionalization, the articulation of the different actors in society, and the implementation of programs focused on the well-being of women."
