INA and Deutsche Messe consolidate strategic alliance to strengthen the industry

Mexico. Within the framework of the Hannover Messe industrial fair, the National Auto Parts Industry (INA) announces its commitment to collaborate with Deutsche Messe AG, represented by its subsidiary Italian German Exhibition Company Mexico (IGECO Mexico).

This alliance aims to work on the creation of a new platform focused on strengthening automotive supply in North America starting in 2025.

Francisco Gonzalez Diaz, executive president of the INA, stated that this agreement is established to take advantage of the trend of relocation of supply chains in the country or nearshoring, which provides opportunities to strengthen the national economy and generate employment in the country, accessing new markets and technologies that benefit the auto parts and automotive industry.

In addition, the agreement aims to promote the 2024 edition of the "Americas' Mobility of the Future" (AMOF) platform as strategic allies. This initiative is dedicated to promoting the development of the mobility of the future in Mexico.

"This strategic alliance reflects our shared commitment to drive the growth and competitiveness of the automotive industry in Mexico and North America," said Bernd Rohde, CEO of Italian German Exhibition Company Mexico.

For his part, González Díaz highlighted: "We are excited to collaborate with Deutsche Messe AG and IGECO Mexico in the creation of this new platform, which will strengthen the automotive supply chain in the region."

Meanwhile, Azul Ogazón Gómez, deputy director of IGECO, and Armando Cortés Galicia, director general of the INA, were appointed as liaisons for the fulfillment of this agreement. This alliance was signed in Germany by Bernd Rohde, CEO, Italian German Exhibition Company Mexico S.A. de C.V.; Francisco N. González Díaz, Executive President of the INA; Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Managing Board, Deutsche Messe AG.
