Dana is recognized as one of the most ethical companies in the world

United States. Dana Incorporated has announced that it has been recognized as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies in 2024 by Ethisphere.

In 2024, a total of 136 companies from 20 countries and 44 industries were recognized. Dana is one of eight honorees in the mobility industry.

"It's an honor to have Dana named one of the World's Most Ethical Companies for the second year in a row," said James Kamsickas, President and CEO of Dana.

"At Dana, our commitment to excellence starts with doing business the right way. This prestigious honor celebrates the mindset of 'One Dana' and our collective efforts to ensure that everyone is valued and treated with respect and that business is always conducted responsibly and ethically," added Kamsickas.

"It's always inspiring to recognize the world's most ethical companies," said Erica Salmon Byrne, chief strategy officer and executive chairwoman of Ethisphere.

"Through the rigorous review process, we see the dedication of these organizations to continually improve their ethics, compliance and governance practices for the benefit of all stakeholders," Byrne added.

"Companies that elevate the best cultures of ethics and integrity set a standard of corporate citizenship to be followed by their peers and competitors. Congratulations to Dana for achieving this honor and proving that strong ethics is good business," Byrne concluded.

The assessment of the world's most ethical companies is based on Ethisphere's proprietary Ethics Quotient, an extensive questionnaire that requires companies to provide more than 240 different test points about their ethical culture; environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices; ethics and compliance program; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and initiatives that support a strong value chain.

That data undergoes further qualitative analysis by our panel of experts who spend thousands of hours examining and evaluating each year's pool of applicants. This process serves as an operational framework for capturing and codifying truly better compliance and ethics practices from organizations across industries and around the world.
