Mini Cooper is recognized in Colombia for its best repair costs

Mini Cooper

Colombia. At the Premios Vía ceremony, the Mini Cooper was recognized as Colombia's premium car with the best repair costs over the past year.

Officially imported into Colombia by Autogermana, the Mini Cooper stood out in its category for "the brand's effort to provide original spare parts and qualified labor for the repair of vehicles after an accident, promoting the design of policies that allow repair costs to be increasingly competitive, for the benefit of car users", as explained by the methodology of the Vía Awards.

"This award not only confirms why the Mini Cooper has been a benchmark in premium cars in Colombia, but also reaffirms the message of quality and safety of the BMW Group's products," said Alejandro Tobón, Aftersales Manager at Autogermana.

The recognition was presented within the framework of the Vía Awards, in which the Federation of Colombian Insurers (Fasecolda) and the Center for Experimentation and Road Safety (Cesvi Colombia) took on the task of analyzing the universe of insured vehicles in the country and carrying out static tests on previously segmented vehicles.

The Mini Cooper is a passenger car, an icon of the British brand of the BMW Group, which stands out for its exclusive design, sporty DNA and state-of-the-art technology on board in its connectivity, infotainment, powertrain and transmission systems.

Driver assistance systems include, among others, the Parking Assistant, consisting of a rear-facing camera, front and rear parking sensors (PDC), automatic horizontal and perpendicular parking assist (manoeuvres, accelerates, brakes and shifts automatically), reverse assistant which stores the last 50 m travelled so that you can exit on the same road and Active Park Distance Control.
