United States. TireHub has launched its first Regional Distribution Center (RDC) located just outside of Allentown, Pennsylvania. The 360,000-square-foot building serves TireHub's northeast fulfillment centers by offering market-specific products and expedited delivery times.
"Our regional distribution center streamlines and enhances our service levels in the Northeast and aims to provide our customers with more breadth and depth of premium Goodyear and Bridgestone products," said TireHub CEO Ted Becker.
"Customers in the region are already experiencing improved service levels. We will continue to explore ways to provide them with the support they need to run their business more efficiently."
TireHub continues to grow its national presence in the tire distribution industry and now operates 78 fulfillment centers across the country.
In the past 18 months, TireHub added or relocated 13 centers, including recent relocations in Birmingham, Alabama; Oakland, California; and Minneapolis, Minn. The company plans to open additional centers in the Boston and St. Louis markets.
