BBB Industries Adds Gonzalo Cajade as Chief People Officer

Gonzalo Cajade

United States. BBB Industries has appointed Gonzalo Cajade as its Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer (CPO). Cajade will be headquartered in the company's corporate center outside of Mobile, Alabama.

Cajade replaces Matt Brynildson, who will remain in an advisory role during the transition.

Cajade is a seasoned industrial HR leader who spent his entire career at the former United Technologies Corporation (UTC) and Otis Elevator, which spun off from UTC in 2020, BBB said.

According to the company, he brings more than two decades of experience in multicultural environments, including regional CPO roles for the Asia-Pacific region and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Cajade was also Otis' vice president of talent and diversity and most recently was CPO for its Americas business.

Cajade holds a bachelor's degree from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa with a specialization in labor relations and an MBA from IAE Business School, both in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His global experience gives him a diverse perspective and the skills to navigate and lead in culturally rich environments, BBB said.

"Gonzalo is the right leader to guide us on the next stage of our journey. He brings a unique combination of talent acquisition and development, employment relations and compensation management skills, as well as the team guidance and drive that our distinctive culture requires," said BBB CEO Duncan Gillis.

"I am absolutely delighted that Gonzalo has decided to join our company and look forward to collaborating with him in the coming years."
