United States. AAPEX invites students to apply to its Student Sponsorship Program and, through a complimentary Expo attendance package, learn firsthand about the benefits and career opportunities in the automotive aftermarket industry.
The package includes, in addition to registration and reception tickets to the Expo that will take place between October 31 and November 2 in Las Vegas, access to all trainings and general education sessions as well as hosted functions. Additionally, there is a three-night stay at a hotel in the city, as well as a stipend for food and transportation.
Participation requires current enrollment in an automobile-specific education program. Must be 21 years old by October 30, 2023 to apply.
For instructors, if interested in taking a group of students to AAPEX, must apply to be an approved school. Once approved, instructors will have access to complimentary AAPEX registration for a group of up to 15 students, as well as access to all AAPEX trainings and general education sessions.
The requirement in that case is that it must be a school offering automotive-specific educational coursework. Student groups must include an instructor chaperone and all students attending must be 16 years of age by October 30, 2023.
