Interstate Batteries Partners with Tractor Supply Company

Interstate Batteries

International. Interstate's battery products will appear on Tractor Supply shelves by the end of the fourth quarter of 2022.

Interstate Batteries, a leading replacement battery brand with north America's largest independent battery distribution system, announced a new partnership with Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, to exclusively supply automotive, commercial and agricultural and sports power battery retailers.

Interstate's battery products will begin appearing on Tractor Supply shelves by the end of the fourth quarter of 2022. The 70-year-old battery company will use its network of 235 distributors, operating in 332 warehouses and three regional distribution centers in the United States.

"Interstate Batteries has decades-long partnerships with many major automakers, fleets, road suppliers and retailers," said Interstate Batteries Chief Operating Officer Lain Hancock.

"We are especially excited to add a company like Tractor Supply to that list, especially one like TSC that focuses on growth, while also sharing our values of excellent customer service and reliability," Hancock added.

For 84 years, Tractor Supply has been committed to providing essential, everyday products that customers need, such as animal feed, pet food and supplies, propane, fencing, garden supplies, household items and more.

Tractor supply team members have the knowledge to help customers find the right products for the job. Now, Interstate batteries will be included in that combination at Tractor Supply stores across the country.

"Our customers depend on us to provide them with everything they need for their homes, farms and ranches to maintain 'Life Out Here,'" said Tony Graham, vice president and merchandise manager for tractor supply's division.

"Partnering with a company like Interstate Batteries that provides quality customer service and reliable batteries allows us to deliver on that commitment as we work toward our sustainability goals," Graham said.

Both Interstate and Tractor Supply prioritize sustainability and are working to minimize their environmental impact.

As part of the new partnership of companies, Interstate will provide its industry-leading battery recycling services to Tractor Supply, ensuring a closed-loop system that is Green Standard certified, while offering better quality and freshness in every battery.
