Full-width 3D matrix lamellae allow both the Conti Hybrid HS5 tyre for the directional axle and the Conti Hybrid HD5 tyre for the drive axle to deliver world-class performance, and even with residual tread depths towards the end of their life.
To increase stability, the 0º casing has been used on the Conti Hybrid HS5 tyre in dimension 315/70 R22.5. It also provides a uniform wear pattern and optimal capacity for retreading.
This housing has a steel bead that passes over the radial housing in the direction of travel: the objective is an optimized distribution of pressure on the contact surface of the tire, especially with variable loads.
The tension on the edges of the belts is also reduced, which contributes to prolonging the life of the tire and its retreading capacity.
The new Conti Hybrid tyres will be available in different dimensions, starting with the following options: Conti Hybrid HS5 315/70 R 22.5; Conti Hybrid HS5 385/55 R 22.5; and Conti Hybrid HD5 315/70 R 22.5.
All tyres are also available from the factory as smart tyres and can be connected to digital solutions as well as the ContiConnect digital tyre management system with the tyre sensor pre-installed.
