Latin America. Bridgestone announced the appointment of Miguel Pacheco as the new president of the North Latin America Region, which includes the markets of Mexico, Costa Rica, Central America, the Caribbean, Colombia and Ecuador.
Its objective is to strengthen and consolidate the company's position as a leader in mobility and sustainable solutions.
"Miguel Pacheco has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead teams, develop strategies and deliver on objectives," said Charlie Rule, president of Bridgestone Tire Operation Latin America.
Miguel Pacheco replaces Alfonso Zendejas, who was in charge of several operations in various countries for 30 years.
Miguel Pacheco joined Bridgestone in 2003 as a commercial advisor for the company in Mexico, where he held various positions such as Marketing and Advertising Manager or National Consumer Sales Manager, before being promoted and transferred to Bridgestone Colombia in 2015. From there he assumed the position of General Sales Manager for the Colombian and Ecuadorian markets.
Under the new guidance of Miguel Pacheco, and guided by the framework of the Bridgestone E8 Commitment, Bridgestone Latin America North says it will join forces to evolve and make the necessary decisions to promote a more sustainable society, in collaboration with employees, society, partners and customers.
