Mexico. Mexico's National Auto Parts Industry (INA) updated its production forecast at the end of 2023 to $117.53 billion, which represents an increase of 12%, compared to last year's production.
On the other hand, in terms of employment, it maintained its positive performance with 903,000 direct jobs as of July 2023.
The Association highlighted that the auto parts sector continues to show excellent dynamism, with a growth of 11.5% in the period from January to July of this year, which represents five times the growth of the manufacturing industry and three times the growth of the country's industrial activity in the same period.
This dynamism is also evident when comparing July 2023 versus July 2022, where there is a growth of 24%.
