MEMA Launches 'MentorME' Employee Mentoring Program

United States. MEMA, the Vehicle Suppliers Association, announced the launch of a mentoring program for MEMA employees.

According to the association, the program is designed to help develop professional skills to positively impact their role in MEMA and their careers in the automotive industry.

The new program, called MentorME, will kick off with five members of the senior leadership team acting as mentors.

The six-month program will include one-on-one mentoring sessions as well as professional development courses for both mentors and mentees. Areas of focus include management, presentation skills, and the art of networking.

"MEMA can deliver strong value to our members because of the talent we invest in internally," said Ann Wilson, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, MEMA and one of MentorME's inaugural mentors.

"MentorME will guide participants toward professional development that will help them in their current career and beyond," he noted.

The MEMA MentorME 2023 mentors are John Chalifoux, MEMA's chief sustainability and operations officer; Julie Fream, president and CEO, Original Equipment Suppliers, MEMA; Paul McCarthy, president and chief executive officer, aftermarket suppliers, MEMA; Collin Shaw, director of commercial vehicles at MEMA; Ann Wilson, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs at MEMA.
