Colombia. The vice president of spare parts of Automotores Toyota Colombia, Ramiro Barreiro, recalls that genuine spare parts guarantee the good performance of vehicles, the economy of their users, as well as safety, health and environmental care.
"A genuine spare part guarantees not only the quality and proper functioning of the part in the vehicle but also the reliability and safety of drivers and pedestrians," says Barreiro.
To this he adds that, by using them, the depreciation of the value of a vehicle is avoided. "Something very important if you think about selling it at some point," he says.
In addition to the benefits of operation and commercial value of the vehicle, the use of genuine spare parts prevents traffic accidents, contributes to health care (such as cabin filters) and benefits the environment (by being manufactured under these standards).
