Worldpac celebrates opening of new warehouse in Puerto Rico

Apertura almacén

Puerto Rico. Worldpac, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advance Auto Parts, celebrated the grand opening of its newest warehouse in Hatillo, Puerto Rico.

Members of the local community, including Hatillo Mayor Carlos Roman Roman, attended the inauguration ceremony.

Located at H-1 Metro Plaza Hatillo, Carr No. 2 KM 87.5 Marginal, Worldpac's warehouse in Hatillo measures over 30,000 square feet and accommodates more than 400,000 automotive original equipment and premium brand parts, serving most vehicle and model brands on the road in Puerto Rico.

The warehouse will support the businesses of local independently owned auto parts stores throughout the western region, with parts deliveries for most customers multiple times a day, six days a week.

"We are very proud to open our second Worldpac warehouse in Hatillo, giving independent businesses in the western region greater access to OEMs and auto parts from leading brands," said Worldpac Executive Vice President of Sales David Heine.

"With two locations in Puerto Rico, we can now offer much greater inventory coverage across the island to better serve our customers. We are also very pleased to employ community members at our new facility and look forward to continuing to invest in Puerto Rico for years to come."

Worldpac employs 10 team members at its new facility, many of whom live locally in Hatillo and surrounding communities.
The company also supports independent auto parts stores through its warehouse in Bayamón, which opened in 2010.
