Brazil. A delegation of 25 companies participated in a trade mission to São Paulo to boost exports, generate new alliances and position the national industry in the main regional market.
With the aim of expanding its presence in the Brazilian market and generating new business opportunities, a delegation of 25 Argentine auto parts companies participated between April 22 and 26 in a trade mission to São Paulo. The activity was organized by the Argentine Foreign Ministry, in coordination with the Consulate General and Promotion Center of Argentina in that city, as part of the 2025 Annual Trade Promotion Plan.
The companies, from Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Córdoba, La Pampa and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, were part of the Argentine Pavilion at the Automec Fair, where they presented their exportable offer and held meetings with potential importers. The participation was coordinated by the Argentine Agency for Investment and International Trade (AAICI).
In addition, the mission included strategic visits to the General Motors industrial plant, where Argentine representatives were able to learn about the automaker's production process and meet with its purchasing team. Business rounds were also held at the headquarters of Iveco Brazil and meetings with local buyers directly in the Argentine Pavilion.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the mission allowed Argentine SMEs to make their export potential visible, integrate into global value chains and position the country as a reliable and competitive supplier.
The Argentine auto parts sector, made up of 435 companies and more than 48,000 workers, exported a total of 864 million dollars in 2024. Brazil accounted for 65% of these foreign sales, according to data from the Association of Argentine Component Factories (AFAC).
