Scania Colombia appoints new head of fleets and trucks

Colombia. Scania announced the appointment of John Ladino as its new fleet and truck director for its operation in Colombia.

Ladino joins the Swedish company, which is leading the change towards a sustainable transport system, to bring his more than 26 years of experience in structuring transport projects and extensive experience in different industries, of great value to the company and the business.

"I face this new challenge with the professionalism and responsibility required to contribute to the proper functioning of the operation of fleets and trucks throughout the country. My desire to meet the established goals and objectives is enormous, and that motivates me to always work thinking about the needs of our customers," said Ladino.

"I know that at Scania we are always looking to deliver the best experience while driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system with the great purpose of continuing to create a world of mobility that is better for business, society and the environment," he added.

John Ladino is a professional in business administration and finance from the Grancolombiano Polytechnic with postgraduate studies at the College of Higher Administration Studies (CESA) and in Risk Economics from the Universidad de los Andes.

He has managed projects in different sectors, such as the structuring of the quality factor fund in Bogota, structuring for the financing of the renovation of buses of the Transmilenio system and the part of the structuring team of the Gastrack Fund for the financing of CNG trucks to independent transporters nationwide.

Prior to joining the role of Head of Fleets and Trucks, Ladino served as Head of Mobility at Vanti Group and prior to that as a Financial Structuring Specialist at Scania.
