United States. TCCI Manufacturing will introduce the first 850V electric compressor available for the commercial transportation market at MACS 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee.
According to the company, the 850 V compressor, available in 34 cc/46 cc/60 cc/120 cc, provides optimal cab and battery cooling for battery-powered commercial vehicles.
As the transportation sector shifts towards sustainable mobility, TCCI's mission is to deliver products that support the changing paradigm.
"By listening to customers and understanding their needs, TCCI has focused on innovation around 400V and 850V products, which are poised to usher in a new era of commercial battery electric vehicles," said TCCI Manufacturing President Richard Demirjian.
TCCI has been working with companies throughout the design and development phase to pave the way to sustainable transportation, and those vehicles will soon be on the roads around the world.
The compressors are designed for a service life of up to 45,000 hours, almost double the service life of competitors. OEMs can optimize their systems to achieve fast load times and help alleviate concerns about range anxiety.
The 850 V compressor range is designed to operate at 8500 RPM.
