Two energy companies partner for a greener future

United States. Stryten Energy LLC, a provider of energy storage solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Dragonfly Energy Holdings Corp, a green energy storage company.

This partnership involves the licensing of Dragonfly Energy's Battle Born Batteries brand lithium-ion batteries . The agreement, potentially valued at more than $30 million, gives Stryten exclusive rights to market and distribute the Battle Born Batteries for military, automotive, marine, motorsports, garden and golf cart applications.

In addition, Stryten will be responsible for the domestic contract manufacturing of Battle Born Batteries products for its own distribution.

Mike Judd, CEO and President of Stryten Energy, stated, "The addition of Dragonfly Energy's Battle Born Batteries to our transportation product line gives our customers access to a brand recognized for its high-quality lithium batteries."

The collaboration aims to provide Stryten customers with a unified source for all battery technologies, addressing growing consumer demand for long-lasting batteries suitable for multiple seasons. Stryten will distribute a blend of existing Battle Born Batteries from Dragonfly Energy's Northern Nevada facility and co-develop new battery models tailored to Stryten's specific markets.

Dr. Denis Phares, CEO of Dragonfly Energy, expressed his pride in expanding the reach of the Battle Born Batteries brand into new markets, stating: "Seeing our lithium batteries alongside other leading brands in large retailers underscores their long-lasting quality and accessibility to consumers nationwide. We believe that Stryten's broad reach and shared commitment to innovation will make this agreement mutually beneficial, driving growth for both companies."

The partnership establishes a strong presence for a vertically integrated supply chain based in the United States, including a program for the collection and recycling of end-of-life batteries in the retail sector. Stryten will also offer customers access to its lithium battery collection and recycling services, reflecting its sustainable lead-acid battery circular economy model. This initiative aims to safely collect and recycle lithium batteries returned to retail outlets, preventing them from ending up in landfills.

Stryten aims to source 100% of lithium cells made in the United States as the supply chain and manufacturing capabilities of lithium batteries in the country advances. Production is scheduled to begin in early 2025, initially supporting Stryten's military and industrial customers.
