Mexico. The company IKD, specialized in the production of aluminum parts for vehicles, will set up a plant in Guanajuato, Mexico.
This investment is intended to generate a thousand jobs.
"On our working tour, we met with representatives of the Asian company IKD, which is mainly dedicated to the research, development, production and sale of automotive castings," said Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, governor of Guanajuato through his X account.
IKD is headquartered in Ningbo City, China and has more than 20 years of experience in the market. The company already has a plant in the Castro del Río Industrial Park, in Irapuato, Guanajuato.
The production of this complex is aimed mainly at customers such as Bosch, Valeo, Mitsubishi, Mubea and Seg Automotive. Its main products, made in Irapuato, are gearboxes and accelerators, and alternator chargers; most of its production goes to the United States.
During this tour of Asia, the investment of the Taiwanese company, Norman Nie Made, was also announced, which will invest more than 500 million pesos and generate more than 3000 jobs. This company has its plant in China.
