Ford consolidates into assembled vehicles

Ensamblaje

United States. According to new 2022 data from S&P Global Mobility, Ford Motor Company has cemented its position as the number one automaker in terms of assembled vehicles.

It is also positioned by automotive workers employed by the hour in the United States and vehicles exported to other countries.

Ford has already committed plans to add more than 18,000 new manufacturing jobs in the United States over the next three years to produce electric and gasoline vehicles.

In 2022, Ford exported 260,000 U.S.-assembled vehicles, including F-150, Explorer and Mustang, to other countries, 65,000 more than the next closest competitor. About one in seven vehicles Ford assembles in the U.S. is now exported to other markets.

Newly announced U.S. jobs include nearly 2,000 at three Michigan assembly plants to produce the F-150 Lightning at the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center in Dearborn, the all-new Ranger pickup truck at the Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne and the all-new Mustang at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant.

Added to this is a new packaging facility of Ford's Customer Service Division in Monroe.
