SKF expands its range of flexible couplers for drive shafts

SKF Vehicle Aftermarket announced that it has expanded its drive shaft coupler offering with the launch of its full line of flexible drive shaft couplers.

"At SKF, we are committed to providing our customers with state-of-the-art automotive components that are designed to last, be installed with ease and deliver unmatched performance and productivity," said SKF Vehicle Aftermarket Product Manager Jeffery Stanley.

The manager assured that the complete line of flexible couplers for drive shafts is designed to fit perfectly into the car for perfect installation, reduced downtime and a lower total cost of ownership.

"They also offer a multitude of safety benefits including impact resistance, high torque and vibrations, as well as misalignment control," Stanley said.

"Using decades of aftermarket engineering experience, we offer a component that maintains full control of overload and smoothly transfers rotational motion to provide the ultimate luxury driving experience," he said.

SKF says that additional features and benefits of SKF flexible driveshaft couplers include design and validation to OEM quality standards, German-made precision, durable vulcanized rubber construction, absorption of angular, radial and axial misalignment, as well as noise isolation due to disruption of the vibration path transmitted by the structure.
