Details 19 December 2023 ![](https://www.aftermarketinternational.com/images/stories/AMI/2023/Xinquia.jpg) *Mexico*. [Xinquan](https://www.xinquan.cn/), a Chinese company specializing in the manufacture of auto parts for luxury vehicles, announced an investment of 100 million dollars and the generation of 700 new jobs for the expansion of its operations in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

This is based on the creation of a second production plant, whose construction will begin in 2024 in the San Francisco IV Industrial Park.

Tang Zhihua, global director of Xinquan, mentioned that this new investment project is a clear sign of the confidence that this company maintains in Aguascalientes.

"Investing here was the best decision and we want to put down roots in this land, where we hope to make positive contributions to the local economy, social development and job creation," he said.

Zhihua said that, two years after its installation in the state, Xinquan has registered a very significant growth dynamic, which is why, at the beginning of this year, they developed an expansion project.

Currently, the company employs more than 1,000 people in Aguascalientes and, with the new plant, that number will increase to more than 1,700.

Today, the company has 31 subsidiaries around the world that employ 11,000 people and generate sales of $400 million annually.

For her part, Tere Jimenez, governor of Aguascalientes, assured that "Xinquan will continue to grow under the clear sky of Aguascalientes; Mexico's Red Dragon is the guarantee of success and good luck for Xinquan and Chinese investments."

"There are currently 12 Chinese-owned companies operating in the state, which together generate more than 4,000 jobs in the auto parts, textiles, services and clean energy sectors; In addition, this Asian country is one of the three main destinations for Aguascalientes' international sales," he added.

On the other hand, the Secretary of Economic Development, Science and Technology, Manuel Alejandro González Martínez, commented that thanks to its competitive advantages and the talent of its people, Aguascalientes registers an economic dynamic that allows it to close the year with a historic figure of almost 20,000 jobs and a growth of more than 4%.
