Latin America. The agreements promote an ecosystem that allows youth to be better linked to the opportunities of the auto parts industry, which generates about 900,000 jobs and attracts more than 4,000 million dollars of foreign investment per year in the country.
The National Auto Parts Industry of Mexico (INA) signed two collaboration agreements in favor of the auto parts sector in Mexico. Both seek that the industry has the specific talent to face the future of mobility and new technologies.
The first was signed on Monday, August 8, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, with Tecnológico de Monterrey. It has three specific objectives:
1. The development of Research, development and innovation projects in areas of electromobility, industry 4.0 and sustainability, focused on the manufacture of auto parts.
2. The joint development of intellectual and technological skills for industry.
3. The training and updating of new technologies of the productive chains of manufacture of automotive parts.
Through this agreement, Tec will provide talent, knowledge and technological infrastructure to INA associates to enhance their capabilities and competitiveness; especially in technologies such as the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, advanced materials, cybersecurity and nanodevices, among others.
The event was headed by Juan Pablo Murra, rector of Professional and Postgraduate Of Tec de Monterrey, and Francisco González Díaz, Executive President of INA.
The second agreement was signed in San José Chiapa, Puebla, last Wednesday, August 11, between the High Level Human Resources Specialization Center for the Automotive Sector (CERHAN) and the INA, with the aim of creating an alliance that promotes the benefits of training and the dual education program in favor of the auto parts sector.
During the event, the INA highlighted that we are living in a historical moment derived from the pandemic, nearshoring, Industry 4.0 and the technological transformation in the industry, which is leading towards sustainable mobility solutions and cleaner vehicles.
The agreement will focus on promoting strategic alliances with the auto parts sector to strengthen scientific and technological work, in addition to promoting CERHAN as a spearhead in the training of personnel in the automotive sector. Likewise, it seeks to open new doors to promote development in training programs and projects, services, technological development, research and information exchange.
Through the agreement, the parties also tend to create synergies to promote the joint development of intellectual and technological skills.
